CHAMBER CHATTER - May Recap

T.A.G. Meeting at Revive on June 9th at 9AM
Our next T.A.G. Meeting will be held at Revive Free Will Baptist Church on June 9th at 9am.
Don't forget we have a new progressive drawing to encourage membership participation that leads to volunteers. The progressive drawing is currently at $200 and sponsored by Mission In Motion and BancFirst. If your business would like to contribute to the growth of the T.A.G. program, please contact our office and learn all the ways you can help.

Luncheon Workshop - Makers and their Markets
$10 for members - $25 for non-members. This includes workshop and lunch from Taco Boy. If you have specific dietary needs, please contact Chamber.
Monthly learning and networking program.
Seating is limited.
Join in the conversation, learn some tips and tricks to help your business while networking with a fun and engaged group of business minded community members.
Workshop topics vary, but this month we are discussing Makers and their Markets courtesy of Pioneer Library system. Remember that if you can't make it send a representative of your business. They will learn something and represent your brand in your absence.

Frontier Days Committee Meeting June 29th at Noon City Council Chambers
Frontier Days planning has begun!
Please consider lending a helping hand and assist in organizing the annual city-wide festival Frontier Days. There are many jobs both big and small. Please attend and learn how you can help.
One of the perks to volunteering on the committee is having a heads up to new sponsorship opportunities. Your name and company you represent will be mentioned in various publications for your contribution efforts. Not to mention, you will feel great about volunteering for your chamber to help promote Tecumseh!
We will meet at the Tecumseh City Council Chambers at Tecumseh City Hall located at 114 N. Broadway St., Tecumseh, OK at noon June 29th.
Downtown Banner Beautification Effort
The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is hosting a downtown beautification effort that supports eating, shopping, playing and growing locally.
Your business (or individual) name will be proudly displayed on your banner of choice (banners are limited and this opportunity is first come first served.)
Choose 1 of 4 colorful designs to help advertise your business and show your support for Tecumseh!
First year banners are $200 each. The chamber will offer to re-hang the banners annually at the cost of $100 each banner each year. Banners will proudly be displayed 11 months of the 12 month year.

Tecumseh Chamber welcomes Kimberly Elliott as new Executive Director
Kimberly Elliott assumed her new role on May 31st and working on her transition period with Leslie Merritt until mid-June. She has begun to make her rounds to visit current Chamber Members so look for her to come see you soon. The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for those interested in serving on our board of directors. We encourage anyone interested in being an integral part of what is happening in Tecumseh to consider putting in your application today!
In the past our chamber has requested everyone nominate candidates, but we have found that many who are nominated were not accepting the nomination.
